As I began my wellbeing journey, incorporating daily walks was my first step. Drawing from my years of working in the outdoors and my Master’s degree in outdoor and experiential learning, I realised how essential the outdoors had always been for my self-care. However, I wanted to slow down and experience nature in a more mindful, accessible way—one that could be integrated into my everyday life and provide space for reflection.

Reflection is key when trying something new, and in order to make a lasting impact on my wellbeing, I needed a more structured approach—something that would allow me to log my experiences and track my progress. So, I decided to create my own journal.

Taking inspiration from some of my favorite books, I designed a series of activities focused on connecting with nature and reflecting on how those moments helped me reconnect with myself. This led to the creation of the Nature-Inspired Guided Wellbeing Journal—a transformative tool to help you do the same.

Inside, you’ll find 48 thoughtfully crafted activities, one for each week, designed to inspire new experiences and deepen your connection with the world around you. Drawing from the natural world and beloved literary works, each prompt invites you to engage with the outdoors in a mindful way. With dedicated reflection pages and a weekly tracker, this journal serves as your guide on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and peace—one activity at a time.

This isn’t your average journal—each week offers not only a mindful activity but also insights into the practice and theory behind it. Whether you live in a rural or urban area, the journal is designed with flexibility in mind. You can choose activities based on the weather, your location, and how deeply you want to engage.

At the very least, this journal will introduce you to new mindful practices, experiences, and stimuli, all accompanied by a structured, thoughtful approach to help you integrate them into your life.
